About Pure Water

Window cleaning techniques have changed dramatically over the years. From chamois leather, soapy water, squeegee, ladders & most recently the use of pure water & telescopic poles.

This latest innovation known in the trade as water fed pole utilises 100% pure water. Pure water consists of just two elements, Hydrogen & Oxygen. Hence the name H₂O. Tap water contains various elements & contaminates including Magnesium, Chlorine, Sodium, Potassium, Fluoride, Aluminium and Copper to name just a few. It's these extra elements & minerals in tap water that leave smears & spots on your cars bodywork and windows when you rinse it with a hose pipe direct from the mains water supply!

To produce Pure Water, tap water is filtered extensively through our specialised system until all the impurities which leave unsightly spots and smears, are removed, leaving 100% ultra-pure water. This process is known as "Reverse Osmosis" and "De-ionisation"

The pure water is transported by van to your property and applied to your windows using a soft bristle brush on an extendable reach and clean water-fed pole. Pure water is then pumped up the pole and out through pencil jets in the brush head. The Pure water with its powerful cleaning properties and soft bristle brush rapidly soften and agitate the dirt and the flow of pure water carries the dirt with it to the ground.

Windows cleaned using this method are left wet, don’t worry, this is normal. It may seem a little disconcerting at first, since this is not what you may have seen in the past, however be assured that windows cleaned this way will dry naturally, leaving a sparkling, smear free finish every time.
